Our Mission Statement
Promote the Real Estate Profession, providing Information and Services to both our Members and the Public.
Becoming a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
There are two ways to become licensed on Prince Edward Island depending on where you are at in your career. If you are new to the industry or have been inactive for over 24 months than you will be required to successfully complete the Pre-Licensing Course (see below). If you currently have or have had (within the last 24 months) an active license in another Canadian province than you will be eligible to complete our Non-Resident Package (see below).
The Pre-Licensing Course
The Pre-Licensing Course is the first step to a career in Real Estate on PEI. This course is combination of in-class sessions and Online lessons. The Pre-Licensing course is currently in a transition stage as we have recently joined forces with Holland College to deliver a new and improved course for 2018. Unfortunately, this means details are limited so your patience is appreciated. The schedule for 2018 sessions will be released mid-late January.
If you are a licensed Salesperson/Broker in another province than you must complete our Non-Resident package in order to obtain your license on Prince Edward Island. This package is a take home manual with a set of quizzes to be completed. The cost is $500.00 + HST and payment can only be made by cheque or money order. You can apply here or contact our office for more information.
There are additional requirements needed to meet before getting your license including:
